  2. Your site is so informative. We seem to resonate on a strange level yet we are very different. I am still seeking wisdom while you seem to have been able to find so much to make your own. I am no stranger to spirituality but lately my energies seem to be fading away into nothingness. Do you have a mentor...or...master or someone in your life helping you every step of the way? I don't and sometimes I wish I could find someone to help me in real life, not just on the net. I am spiritually isolated. Perhaps this too is a test. However... Any advice?

  3. Thanks for the kind words Thorny Rose.

I am not sure I have much wisdom though. Still trying to figure out what it is all about. I read a lot of science. It is very helpful in this search. Especially physics and biophysics and brainresearch.

I have no mentor here and don´t belong to any church, so as you I am on my own.

What I have is friends on the internet. Not teachers, but friends that are willing to help and share there own wisdom.

I spend a lot of time on Spiritual Discussion Forum. That´s were I met chip and grim as you aked about before. They are enlightened, so I am well taken care of. But as my mind is as it is. I listen and then I integrate what I find good. Sometimes I modify they say as I take a more scientific appproach. And sometimes we disagree.

You can try that Forum if you like. There are of course a range of different people there. Some is best to ignore. You will see quickly who they are. SDF is a very open forum and sometimes it is "hot" in there.

If you are lucky you might find somebody that clicks. And you find guidense and friends. Like I have.

  8. Aurora,

Here are some of my thoughts in hopes you will be able to see me better as your blogs does you. i am much in belief that each person is made up of three aspects, heart, mind and soul. Each are dependent on the other. The reality that is implied from each is sourced from what has been realized and compiled as each part grows or shrinks.

i serve measures, therefore that the three parts are holding on too or are bound too. Realizing that, i enticed myself over many years to look deeply into each of the parts and free them from what i called bondage.

You commented that i was up in the clouds... on the sdf and you are, in part, correct. Working on the three aspects of self i was coming out of a transition that at times was like a dark night (held captured) and at times enlightened (free from attachments and such).

Rising out of the transition i was weary to fall back in and weighed most everything from a standpoint that i saw as measures consistent to a new found awareness. At the same time i was willing to throw onto the forum (sdf) matters that revealed the nature of deception that mankind is caught up in.

Some of those traps were favoritism that accepted one over another. Yet, i responded to some who shared the same awareness as they portrayed them, and with others i saw matters that were still binding them, though they were looking.

Trying to reach each group, as well as those who were not seeking truth at all, had to be given within that consistency mentioned above.

Often, i used humor to try to appease any concerns of my intent, as i shared with others.

i am married with three grown siblings and that too had to factor in my responses, as well as so many other things.

I feel i can see inside another's head, by how they react to whatever is holding them or by what they are freed from in their lives. As this isn't really saying much, i do feel if another is sincere in there quest for enlightenment, things can be shared with another who is doing the same or has been there.

You are quick to reveal a sharp edge in your discussions, though with those you favor, it is not seen. That allows me to get into your head thinking that you are deeply guarded, and hence reflects in the three aspects of you.

What is deeply guarded, one cannot say without giving more insight. Then, unless all is told one would need to pry into that depth to reveal it.

Those who are sharing such insights with others... must be accepted by the other to go further. When we say i accept this one while rejecting the other, it resounds (bounces off) from what Lord Jesus shared when he said for example 2 things. Follow me and i will set you free. Then he offers for all to love one another first to God, then to each other.

Soooo... without saying it, he is offering that acceptance cannot be chosen in part. For what is served (deeply) within can be seen by these limited measures that need to be worked on to be consistent to the unconditional love he was offering.

These exchanges were we left off from the sdf. The fearing you was in part a tongue and cheek response. Yet, it is true regarding whatever is holding you into the dark night... must be revealed and dealt with, to move on.

Yes, in this process we choose one measure of teaching (fellows)over another for a time; for that is the best we can do in our level of acceptance.

Having won over the deeper matters, acceptance is more readily exchanged.

I hope we can continue in that!

  9. thanks ray, I appreciate your letter. And, it was understood.

I know I am getting sharp at times. It is when it seems impossible to get through to someone. At that time you seemed to need to get down to earth a bit.

About teaching, some people might not like to be taught. Because something is right for you it might not be for me.

Thanks ray. I think you should listen to grim adn chip.

Mornings don’t present much opposition; and this morning I couldn’t think of a reason – no excuses. Blue jeans, clean shirt, and boots that have yet to show partiality: well rounded, refreshed, no matters. A calling to congregate, three generations, three heavens spiraling inwards bound through double doors. Music, singing, holy rollers clapping hands, not my cup of tea, but still -- no thoughts either way.

A preacher standing at the altar talking about measures; what it is to be a man. Generations being under an influence; even our children walk with pants sagging below their ass. Carrying the prison mentality, yet they wear belts; a privilege not given so easily to those we bare hope for, even in our jails. Sports stars making front pages spending eighty thousand in one night -- at a strip club; a child in a mans body? An ex-musician once millionaire behind on child support payments making headlines, or maybe BET music awards with gangstas outside claiming those inside are representing them. Editors K.K.K., the black K.K.K., or just the successful ripples through time from a successful originating body?

Listen to what a true a sell out is, and what one is all about. You can’t be down in the valley if you’re up there, no matter how you perceive yourself at what wavelength. Some reach to touch an ego -- proclaiming an identity. One that deeply roots within our being, while sitting in the back: clearing thoughtful matters, an attempt to share a mutual understanding. Please be seated, stop the madness, a Sheppard preaches; a voice that repeats to just stop the madness. For a moment feeling like Rosa Parks, so tired of listening to what they think, or who am I, standing within at the back of a church – a Sheppard says for those of you who are standing -- I will pray for you.

All I hear sometimes is how often one is nothing more than a nigga working a piece of real estate, and every so often, I have to stop and ask, who ever gave them permission, Aurora -- to call me, a nigga?
